Idea #1

The EEC

Those avid Europhiles, who constantly try to put down those of us who KNOW the UK would be better off out of the EEC, regularly fail to list any benefits that UK citizens get from being EEC Members. They, without fail, would rather criticise our ideas than Praise EEC Membership with a list of benefits. The fact is they cannot give a list of benefits because THERE ARE NONE!

We are constantly told of Job loses that would arise from coming out, which is absolute rubbish. No mention is ever made of the Job loses that have occurred BECAUSE of our membership!

A) Fishermen have lost their jobs because of stupid policies coming out of Brussels.

B) Coal miners have lost their Jobs because NO BRITISH GOVERNMENT has ever had the guts to objected to Germany subsidising her Coal industry to over £2 billion a year. (Some level Playing Field!) It is cheaper to import German coal than to dig it out of some of our pits. That is crass stupidity!

The EEC is an inefficient and an anti-democracy organisation that no right-minded individual would want to belong to.

Inefficient? What other organisation on this planet would be allowed to get away with not having audited accounts for 13 YEARS?

Anti-Democracy? What other organisation would NEVER accept an individual nations vote against its' policies and demand a revote, slanting the revote so it gets the result it wants? That smacks of totalitarianism.

If we came out, our simple philosophy should be, we trade with anyone who opened their borders to our goods. After all the UK is a world-trading nation and should not be concentrating on a small part of it called Europe.

The slow erosion of the right to govern ourselves means our way of life is under threat from faceless people who are hell bent on a United States of Europe.

It is amazing whenever a debate starts on the EEC those without Vision always bring up the scare tactic of Jobs. Well I have covered part of this above but here is another fact. Switzerland pays something like £170m to have access to the EEC market, I believe Norway does pay something similar. Now I am not saying we should pay such sums, as we are a huge market for EEC goods, but would it be preferable paying £170m to carry on trading with the EEC with no job losses and having Complete control over how our country is run than Paying £6b (or is it £8b?) for being a full member of EEC?
